Goal 99,000 ₪
Flexible Project - You will receive your gift, and the Project will get your donation even if the fundraiser will not achieve the target amount
The "Comprehensive Guide to a Bar Mitzvah", www.bar-mitzva.com, was established to give every Jew, especially children approaching their Bar Mitzvah, the opportunity to hear, read and study the Torah and Haftarah readings in an easy and friendly manner, and everything is absolutely free!
The internet operates 24 hours a day but our Virtual Rabbi never gets tired. Every visitor can choose an Ashkenazi, Spanish, Moroccan or American expert and hear the Torah- reading interactively at any time and from any location.
Hundreds of thousands of visitors have been already browsed, studied and enjoyed the site. Tens of thousands are studying each month!
What is contained in the site?
It begins with explanations, including preparation for the study of the Torah and Haftarah blessings, the notes and, of course, the Torah and Haftarah readings, including the weekly Torah portion. Greetings from the Chief Rabbi, the pertaining laws, preparation, tools and accessories and even a Rabbi on call who has already answered questions from thousands of visitors.
So why are we raising money?
Today, at the height of success, the entire project stands in danger of collapse, we may lose everything! Technology is advancing, browsers have become more sophisticated, Google's Big Brother constantly changes its formulas and the ways it tracks the sites; if you are not up to date you simply do not exist.
The Comprehensive Bar Mitzvah Guide site is a veteran and aging site. If we do not re-build the site so that it will re-fresh, update, and adapt to new technologies we will simply disappear!
Besides the real danger of the collapse of the old site we have a genuine desire to improve the interface. This will provide users with a better user-experience and make the entire audio and visual learning experience more enjoyable.
So why not move forward and upgrade? That would make the entire experience on the site more enjoyable and productive.
We feel it is a real privilege to provide thousands of children and adults alike,
the opportunity to study anywhere, anytime without having to travel to a remote teacher, which can sometimes be quite costly!
Even when money is not the problem, in many parts of the world, it is difficult, if not impossible, to find a trained professional who can teach the skills required for properly
reading the Torah and Haftarah; this is now just a click away!
In order to re-vitalize this powerful and important site and allow us to continue with this Torah and Haftarah revolution which attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors, we need your assistance. So let us work and together share the burden of empowering every Jew, wherever he may be, the opportunity to learn how to read from the Torah!
Who am I?
I'm Zaki Liberman, creator of the "Comprehensive Bar Mitzvah Guide" website.
I invite you to join us and become a partner in rebuilding the site, to assist more Jews around the world to learn how to read the Torah.
Over ten years ago I wanted to give the opportunity for every Jew across the world, to learn how to read the Torah, and the Haftara at no expense.
This site was immediately reported in Israel and throughout the world; with thousands of visitors studying each and every month.
All the content on the site is free including learning the blessings, the notes, an actual Bar Mitzvah guide and even a designated Rabbi that answers your questions.
Today, at the height of success, we can lose everything.
The technology is changing, for example the site is not compatible with smart phones and tablets.
While this is unfortunate, the one option we have left is to rebuild the Bar Mitzvah site from scratch.
We can't allow something this important to disappear!
The challenges we are facing in rebuilding a new website
are not easy to overcome and require considerable programming and designing as well as a graphic artist and more.
I am turning to you personally to partner up with us and invite you to take part in the project.
In order for your son, yourself, or any other Jew to continue to learn and benefit from the site will require a considerable financial outlay.
Support us now, by purchasing from the unique products that we made available for this purpose at below market prices.
Thank you for being part of this important project!
Finally, please let me ask for one small request, please share this project with
everyone you can, this will be a major help (and contribution) at the price of a single click. Thank you, and Good Luck!
